| Florida Career Criminal Sentenced to 20 Years
(Press Release) - Posted 7/7/2010 | | | A Lake Wales, Florida man has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for conspiring to rob three local businesses. The defendant, who has a lengthy criminal history dating back to 1980, was found guilty of two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery and one count of possessing, carrying, using, and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence.

Ten people were arrested and seven homes searched by tribal police, who seized weapons, vehicles, and undetermined quantities of cash, cocaine, ecstasy, and marijuana. |
